Refund Policy
VOXECURE LLC ("aikit.studio," "we," "our," or "us") stands behind the quality of our motion design work. This Refund Policy describes when refunds are available, how to request one, and what is excluded.
This Policy works in tandem with our Terms of Service. If there is any conflict, the Terms of Service control.
Our commitment
We are a small, focused studio. We invest meaningful time in every brief - from kickoff and discovery through preview, revision, and final hand-off. Our refund structure reflects how production cost accumulates as a project moves through these stages.
If you are unsure about the right package, talk to us before you order. We would rather scope correctly upfront than refund later.
Refund eligibility
2.1 Full refund (100%)
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- You cancel before production has begun
- We are unable to start your project within 14 calendar days of payment due to our scheduling capacity
- We initiate cancellation for any reason on our side
2.2 Partial refund (50%)
You may be eligible for a 50% refund if:
- You cancel within 24 hours after production has started
- The first preview or draft has not yet been delivered to you
2.3 No refund
Refunds are not available after:
- The first preview or draft has been delivered, or
- Final files have been delivered, or
- All included revision rounds have been used
In place of a refund after the first preview is delivered, we offer the satisfaction process described in section 3.
Satisfaction process
We solve fit issues with revision, not refund. Every package includes two (2) structured revision rounds, applied as follows:
- After the first preview, you may submit a single consolidated round of revisions in writing
- We apply the changes and deliver a second preview
- After the second preview, a final consolidated revision round is available
- If, after both rounds, the final delivery still does not match the agreed-upon brief, we may offer a partial refund at our sole discretion based on the gap between brief and result
We will not provide refunds for changes of direction, taste preferences raised after kickoff, or scope expansions that were not in the original brief.
How to request a refund
To request a refund:
- Email billing@aikit.studio with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your order ID or invoice number, date of payment, package purchased, project stage, and reason for the request
- We will acknowledge within 1 business day and issue a determination within 5 business days
You may also email legal@aikit.studio if your request involves a billing dispute.
Refund processing
5.1 Eligibility review
We review every request against this Policy. Approval is not guaranteed; eligibility depends on production stage and the conditions in section 2.
5.2 Method
Approved refunds are issued through the original payment method (e.g. PayPal balance, the original credit card via the processor).
5.3 Timeline
- Internal processing: 1 to 5 business days from approval
- Payment provider settlement: typically 3 to 10 additional business days, depending on PayPal, Stripe, your card issuer, and your bank
5.4 Currency and fees
Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Currency conversion losses, processor fees, or chargeback fees are not refundable.
Non-refundable situations
Refunds are not issued for:
- Change of mind after production has started and a preview has been delivered
- Failure to provide required source assets within 30 days of payment
- Dissatisfaction with elements that were not specified in the original brief
- Delays caused by your late or unresponsive feedback
- Third-party platform behavior (e.g. App Store rejection, browser quirks, unsupported devices)
- Add-on services that have already been delivered (e.g. expedited turnaround, source-file packages)
Project cancellation
7.1 Client-initiated cancellation
- Before production begins: 100% refund
- Within 24 hours of production starting: 50% refund
- After the first preview is delivered: no refund (revisions offered instead)
- After final delivery: no refund
7.2 Studio-initiated cancellation
If we cancel your project for any reason - including capacity, scope mismatch, conflict of interest, or violation of our Acceptable Use clause that is not our fault - you will receive:
- A full refund if no preview has been delivered
- A pro-rated refund if work has been delivered but cannot reasonably be used standalone
We will notify you in writing as soon as practicable and explain the reason.
Disputes
If you believe a refund decision is incorrect:
- Reply to the determination email within 14 days, explaining the basis for your disagreement
- We will escalate to a second reviewer and respond within 7 business days
- If we still cannot reach resolution, the dispute resolution provisions of our Terms of Service apply (good-faith negotiation, then Wyoming courts)
For payments processed through PayPal or Stripe, their respective buyer-protection policies may also apply.
Chargebacks
We strongly prefer that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We can usually resolve refund concerns faster than a chargeback can complete.
Chargebacks initiated without prior written contact may result in:
- Suspension of access to delivered files until the dispute is resolved
- Termination of any active engagement
- Decline of future orders from the same account
Exceptions
Outside of this Policy, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Significant production delays caused by us
- Technical failures that prevent file delivery
- Material errors in the final deliverable that cannot be corrected through revision
These discretionary refunds are not precedent and do not waive any provision of this Policy or our Terms.
Policy updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updates are posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that order.

We exist to make your product feel finished. If something is off, talk to us first. Most things can be fixed inside the revision rounds - that is what they are for.
